No knead bread

Sharon found a recipe for No Knead Bread that I thought I would try. Here is the first attempt ...

It was very tasty with jam and butter. Has also made good sandwich bread.

It is a pretty simple recipe. Mix the ingredients. Let rest, covered, for 18 hours at  room temperature.
Then it looks something like this. It uses shockingly little yeast.

Bake in a hot oven, in a pre-heated cast iron oven, removing the lid for the last 5-15 minutes.

Cool. Eat. Then keep anything left covered in a tea towel.
